“My wife and I are in our early 30s and the Phil Abair Band played our anniversary party with about 60 guests. They were terrific. Great musical quality and selection, got everyone dancing, and very nice guys (and gal). Lots of compliments from our guests, too. Also, Phil was diligent with the administrative/logistics side, and easy to work with. We highly recommend this band - they know what they're doing and they do it very well.”

“The Phil Abair band played at my wedding on June 1st, 2019, and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They were very responsive and easy to work with ahead of the wedding, and exceeded our expectations the day of. Thanks to them, our dance floor was packed the entire night and we’ve gotten rave reviews from all of our guests. If you have an event in which you want your guests to dance all night long- this band is for you!”
- Kelly O'Brien
“Phil, Kevin, and the entire band, THANK YOU! Obviously we don't need to tell you how fantastic a band you are and what a blast we and our guests had at our wedding Saturday night at the Lake House. But we really do want you to know how much we appreciate all that you did to make our day even more perfect. I'm pretty sure every single person there commented on how great the music was, what an incredible band you are, and how much fun we all had - those of us on the dance floor and from the looks of it, you guys on stage making it happen. Thanks again, ”

“The Phil Abair made our wedding reception incredibly special! We had the BEST time on the dance floor, as did all of our guests. For four hours straight, we had a PACKED dance floor- exactly what we wanted. The band engaged with the crowd perfectly, even let one of our friends sing a song while they played. They played three songs as an encore - we didn’t want the night to end! We highly recommend this band for any event, they bring the best energy to any party.”

“The Phil Abair Band played at our wedding on our private property. They absolutely ROCKED! The musicians were so talented, the singers’ voices were fantastic, and everyone was on the dance floor all night. They played a mix of songs from all eras that satisfied everyone. We were singing along and calling for encores! The band played our requests for first dance, etc. Phil was also great to work with. Highly recommend!”

“We celebrated our 30th anniversary with 90 friends and The Phil Abair band rocked the tent for 3 hours. Everyone danced--even friends who "don't dance". They took one break and then kept on playing until the party was over. They are talented and can play just about anything. I asked them to learn a song to surprise my husband (it was the first song played at our wedding). They learned it and played it for us and it was great. Everyone commented on how good the band was. I would certainly hire them again. They were amazing!”

“You will be soooo pleased with yourself that you hired Phil Abair and his fantastic band! We sure are. Having grown up in Vermont, I'd heard the Phil Abair Band before. I liked their sound and knew they had a great reputation, so we hired them for our 150 guest wedding on Lake Champlain. Turns out I had no idea just how truly professional, fun, and incredibly talented these musicians are! From the first phone conversation, Phil was a great communicator, flexible, and very helpful with every detail. One of the members of the band even agreed to run mics and music for our ceremony, which was at a different location from the reception. They shared their expertise about event timing and flow, first dance selection, and the best set lists for cocktail hour versus dancing. And dance we sure did! Once the beat started bumping, all the guests were on the floor, young and old alike, and no one left until the band had to go home, but not until they played an encore. Our wedding was a total blast, and a big reason is how much our family and friends loved this band. Many out of towners couldn't believe Phil comes from Burlington and not Boston or NYC. My college roommate and her husband drove back to Ohio reminiscing about every wedding they had ever been to, and arguing about whether the Phil Abair Band was the best, most fun, or the 18 piece band at the half million dollar affair in Denver they went to that time... PS - Pay the extra money and get the horns. You are not going to regret hiring Phil!”

“Just had Phil and the band at our wedding in Warren VT. They are a group of talented musicians with a big sound! They played fast and slow songs, jazz, funk, pop, a great mix for our crowd. Loved them.”
- Max Lewin
“Phil and his band absolutely killed it at our wedding this August. Phil's communication and professionalism was excellent. His song selection is deep and diverse and the band was exceptionally well practiced with everything they played. Don't need to look any further than Phil Abair band for your VT wedding - book them and you will not be dissapointed.”
- Addison Raap 8/17/19 Wedding
“The Phil Abair Band was timely and professional, not to mention fun and swingy ALL NIGHT LONG! The band was quick to adapt their setlist upon reasonable request, and our guests even thought that some of the songs they played through dinner were the original recordings themselves! We highly recommend you book these guys for a smashing party!”
- Gretchen Kaija
“These guys are pros. We hired the Phil Abair Band to play at our wedding reception. With all the other stuff to worry about in planning a wedding, I really appreciated how the band required almost no effort on our part--Phil coordinated directly with the venue, was set up and ready to go early, and played an amazing show that had everyone on the dance floor. They definitely know how to read a crowd, and they kept the energy up the whole night. Everybody afterwards kept saying, "Those guys were the best!" I would recommend the Phil Abair Band to anyone throwing any kind of party. Having a live band makes things so much more fun, and these guys really know what they're doing. ”
