Reviews
My wife and I were married in August and we started our search by hearing several wedding bands that we'd seen on various wedding sites. The last band we heard was The Cup Band, we didn't need to hear anyone else. They were very professional with planning prior to our wedding day - also extremely helpful guiding us through the timeline of events during the wedding. We had portions of the band in our ceremony (1 piece), cocktail hour (3 piece) and reception (full band). We were looking for a rock band that was a bit more adventurous than the 'norm'. Each member of the band was EXCELLENT. They had nearly every single person dancing. The guests at our reception, actually, demanded an encore which they thankfully obliged (I've never seen that happen at a wedding reception). We gave them a couple of "don't play" and "must play" song request and they filled in the rest with a variety of fast and slow songs that fit our crowd perfectly.”
- Scott and Brandy
Thank you so much! We felt that our whole wedding reception went extremely well and we couldn't have been happier with your music. You received several compliments from our guests. They loved your music! Your sound was great, everyone was dancing, it was perfect...You did a wonderful job and were great to work with. We'll be sure to refer any friends or family looking to hire a band. Have a wonderful summer!”

Kerry and I had the best time…You guys killed it. Best time ever. What a day! Tweezer reprise!!! I have nothing but great things to say and will always put in a good word for you. ”
- Shane
I just wanted to say one more time how wonderful your band is. If the band at a reception is not good, the reception is not good, you guys were GREAT and our reception was GREAT. So many friends have called or emailed to say what a good time they had and how GREAT the band was. They couldn't believe that Julie and Keith just found you "online". Thanks so much for being part of our special day. ”
- Barbara (Mother of the Bride)
Just wanted to get a chance to thank you guys again for playing last weekend. Everybody really loved the band and thought you guys rocked! Thanks again and good luck!”
- Matt
What a fabulous group of musicians you are!!! It was an incredible evening and your band made it happen! Everyone is still talking about it... Please feel free to use us as a reference for any future weddings... thanks again. Hope you enjoyed your brief stay in Vermont.”
- Lauren (Mother of the Bride)
You guys were awesome! Thanks so much - you nailed it! Everyone has been raving about the band, as well as noting they're going to contact you for their upcoming events. My highlight of the night was the crowd gathered around my 4 year old nephew doing the "worm" to a kick ass Shakedown Street! Unbelievable!! Thanks so much, you were perfect!!! ”
- Matt K.
Just a quick note to thank the band for such a WONDERFUL job on Saturday 7/7. We received SO many compliments on the band and the music- everything was a hit!! Our first dance song, which was learned, was so so perfect. You guys did such a great job with it. Thank you for all your help and patience in this process. Nick and I couldn't have asked for more.”
- Allison
Shana and I had to wait a few days before writing this, otherwise it would have only contained jumbled sentences filled with adjectives that described how amazing and perfect you guys were for our wedding!!! From the bottom of our hearts we would like to thank all of you for playing our wedding. The Cup Band not only met our expectations but far exceeded them. From the intro songs, to the first dance, to dinner, and then the dancing music; you guys "absolutely crushed it" to use the words of one of the guests! In fact we have had countless guests text, phone, and email us saying "it was the most fun they have had at a wedding in years/ever!” Some have even comically asked for a CD copy saying it was that much fun. We could go on and on about the night such as, how my dad never dances and… he danced all night, the great variety of songs that kept everybody out on the floor, or how you guys mixed in some of the music that is so dear to my heart. For Shana and I, it was the best day of our lives and The Cup Band played a BIG part in making that day as perfect as it was and for that we THANK YOU a thousand times over! Finally we just want to say that what you guys did through music for us, our guests, and I'm sure others in the past - gives people truly positive memories that last a lifetime. And THAT… right there - is the beauty of this band! ”
- Mike and Shana
We had an absolutely amazing time at our wedding, thank you for making our big day, that much more special! Thank you again as well for all of your help, we greatly appreciate it! Happy Holidays! Best Wishes, ~”
- Susan T. M.
I just wanted to say thank you again for the performance you and your band put on during our wedding in East Burke on Sept 17th. You guys made the evening and our only wish was to have had you guys play for a few hours longer! Know that the minute anyone asks us for band referrals, you will be at the top of our list. Many thanks ”
- Chris & Sarah
Jon and I just wanted to thank the band for doing a wonderful job at our wedding... It was fantastic! Jon and I really appreciated the extra effort the band put in to learn our requests. I was in such a whirlwind that day I don't think I thanked the band directly during or after the wedding, so please extend my gratitude. And the music at the ceremony was gorgeous- so perfect- so please give some extra special thanks to the band members who played at ceremony. The Beatles theme for the ceremony was awesome.”
- Jon and Connie
We would be happy to talk with anyone about our experience with you. We had such great comments from our guests and some of our favorite wedding memories are from the dance floor. ”
